Bobby Joe Melton, Sr.

Bobby Joe Melton, Sr., age 85 of Louisville, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Alcoa First Baptist Church, retired from ALCOA with 58 years of service and was a member of the 50 Year Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gertrude Richards Melton; brothers, Cecil and Lee Melton; sister, Mary Nell McCosh. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Inez Sissum Melton; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Joe, Jr. and Elissa Melton; daughters, Cathy Melton Atchley, Lisa Melton, Rachael Melton; son, Michael Thomas Melton; grandchildren, Nicholas, Michaela, Brianna and Caitlin Hutchison; brother, J. C. Melton; sister, Audry Bryson. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Gene Gann officiating.
