Brenda Powell

Brenda Powell, age 81 of Maryville passed away on November 10, 2025, at her home. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church for over 50 years where she was Nursery Director for many years. She was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company and was a member of the 25-Year Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, JG and Willie Hudson.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Powell; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Tammy Powell; son, Eric Powell; grandson, Jacob Powell; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Judy Hudson; sister-in-law, Helen Cox; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, November 14, 2025, at Broadway Baptist Church with the service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Broadway Baptist Church.
