Carl Edward Jones, Sr.

Carl Edward Jones, Sr., age 85 of Maryville passed away August 11, 2025. He attended Community Baptist Church in Knoxville. He was the former owner of Whitehead Wrecker Service for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Dorothy Jones; brothers and sisters, JR Jones, Ruth Stephens, Marie Cable, Charlotte Squires, Ruby Crye, Pat Elrod; wife, Wanda Jones; nephew Bobby Stephens.

He is survived by his son, Eddie Jones and wife, Mary; granddaughter, Brittany Stinnett, Debbie Teffeteller, Scott Elrod and wife, Cheri; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jody and Charlie Davis; brother-in-law, Buck Whitehead; many nieces and nephews; girlfriend, Daurice Spencer.

Friends are welcome to sign the register from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 14, 2025, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with Rev. Carl McGill and Rev. Paul Ownby officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Clarks Grove Cemetery.

He was loved and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
