Carolyn Downey Owens age 43 of Maryville passed away Sunday, June 2, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by: Grandparents, Vaneus and Mona Chapman, Bud and Oscie Downey. Survivors include: Husband, Roger (Buck) Owens. Step-son, Roger Owens. Parents, Estel and Mildred Downey. Brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Marie Downey. Brother, Jerry Downey. Sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Lonnie Smith. Nieces and nephews, Brad and Judy Smith, Michael and Daniel Downey, April Smith, and Jonas Downey. Funeral Services will be 8:00 PM Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet 11:30 AM Tuesday at Mt. View Christian Church Cemetery for the interment.
