Cecil L. Buchanan

Cecil L. Buchanan-age 86 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Prestige Assisted Living, Loudon. He was retired from ALCOA and was a member of the ALCOA 25 Year Club. Preceded in death by father and mother, Canie and Ellen Buchanan; wife, Clarice Buchanan; brother, J.D. Buchanan; sisters, Mildred Gardner and Jo Helen Buchanan He is survived by children, Roger Buchanan of Maryville, Christy (James) McGill of Lenior City, Janice (Michael) Herron of Maryville; stepchildren, Judy Gastenveld, Pam Sawyer, and Eddie McCaulley; sisters, Lorene Gunter of Maryville, Inez Hughes of Louisville, Margie Hill of Maryville; grandchildren, Michelle Mahan, Derek Simonds, and Kaney Buchanan; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to all the staff and care givers at Prestige Assisted Living in Loudon, TN Family and friends will meet 2:00 PM Friday, December 27, 2013, at Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev.
