Charles Eugene Daugherty

DAUGHERTY, Charles Eugene, age 81 of Maryville, TN, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Allegheny Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Lee Best Daugherty; son, Joseph Eugene Daugherty; parents, James Daugherty and Myrtle Moore Hatcher. Survivors include his daughter, Charlsie Jones Lawhon and husband Alex; daughter-in-law, Jean Daugherty; grandchildren, Karla Penley and husband Todd, Saundra Gordon and husband Andrew, Sonya Fortner and husband Randy; Lori Brown and husband Terry, Chuck Lawhon; 9 great grandchildren, Kyran, Kaleb, Kaden, Kierstin, Tristin, Taylor, Miranda, Katie, Trace; sisters, Johnnie Bartlett, Augusta Barnett; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dean Mullins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Allegheny Cemetery for the interment service.
