Charles Glen Dake

Charles Glen Dake, age 95 of Maryville, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015, at Shannondale of Maryville. Glen was a member of Broadway Baptist Church, Alcoa Kiwanis club and retired from ALCOA with 44 years of service and a member of the ALCOA 25 year service club. He was also a former Blount Memorial Hospital Board Member. He was preceded in death by his wife Nelle Arnwine Dake; son, David Glen Dake; parents, Charles and Myrtle Dake; brother, W.G. Dake; sisters, Mary Ruth Dake Ellis and Virginia Dake Owen. Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Dake Bass and husband Sarvis of North Carolina; son, Paul Dake and wife Liz of Florida; daughter-in-law, Jayne Dake of Knoxville; grandchildren, Robb Parsons and wife Michele, Matt Parsons, Cameron Dake; Mary Claire Aaron and husband Marcus, Catelyn Durham and husband Kenny, Cathryn Jayne Dake; great-grandchildren, Jaelyn Dake, Sophia Parsons, Colton Aaron; sisters, Martha Dake Johnson and Frances Dake McDonald; many loving and caring nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 a.m. Monday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Tim Carpenter, Stuart Sadikoff, Alan Owen, Frank Conrad and Scotty Hannah. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
