RHYNE, Charles L., age 87 of Maryville, passed away Friday, April 25, 2008, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a loving husband and father, a 57 year member of Union Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for 45 years. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the U. S. Army for 3 years, 7 months and 5 days, a farmer and owner of Rhyne Brothers Rolling Store, retired from ALCOA and owner/operator of a Blount County School bus. He was preceded in death by his sons, Billy and James Lee Rhyne; parents, James and Margaret Zoe Crye Rhyne; brother, James Lee Rhyne. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Millsaps Rhyne; son and daughter-in-law, Lincoln and Judy Rhyne; daughter-in-law, Mrs. James Lee “Marian†Rhyne; grandchildren, Angie Parker and husband Charlie, Chad Rhyne and wife Paula; Heather Hmielewski and husband Matt; great grandchildren, Dustin Cunningham, Holly Cunningham, Jack Rhyne; future great grandchild, Stella Hmielewski; brother, Robert Rhyne; sisters, Una Vee Fields, Margaret Holder and husband Fred Lee; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Moore, Rev. Alvin Patton and Rev. Casey King officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
