Christine J. Hodson

Christine J. Hodson, age 78 of Alcoa, passed away Monday, March 1, 2004, at Morning View Transitional Care Center. A native of Claiborne County, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a life-long care giver and friend to many. She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, M. P. (Pete) Hodson, Sr.; her daughter, Sherry Lee Hodson; sisters, Irene Ratchford and Pauline Parker; and sisters-in-law, Lois McMahan, Betty Young and Mary Ruth Hodson. She is survived by son M. P. (Bud) Hodson, Jr; granddaughter, Jennifer L. Hodson; brother-in- law, Kenneth Hodson; special friend and brother-in-law, George Ratchford; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews in Claiborne and Blount counties. Friends will be received at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Steve Musick officiating.
