Clara Patterson Dunn

Clara Patterson Dunn, age 99, was born March 9, 1917 in Tellico Plains, TN and passed away on April 5, 2016 at Asbury Place. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Alcoa and active in the "Believers", AARP and Eastern Star for 50+ years. She worked at ALCOA during the war. She also worked at Spikes restaurant and Breezy Wynns. Preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Verda Patterson; husband, Cecil Dunn; brothers, Glen, Hollis and Boyd Patterson; sister, Marie Patterson. Survivors include great nephew, Boyd (Cindy) Patterson; great nieces, Samalynn (Derek) Powell, Lori Patterson (Marcello) Loureio and their families; devoted cousin and caregiver, Kathy Mobley. The family will receive friends from 1-1:30 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. John Lowe officiating. The interment will follow at Clarks Grove Cemetery.
