Clarence Ren Coonce, age 89 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation. He was a member of Maryville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a former Deacon, served during World War II with the Army Air Corp Checkertail Clan # 325, belonged to the American Legion, and was a lifetime member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Bessie Coonce; sister, Francis Bacon; brother, Raymond Coonce. Survivors include his wife, Pat Coonce; daughters, Karen Price and husband Ron, Diana Ronci and husband Reno; son, Russell Coonce; stepchildren, Catharine Penick-Kerr and husband Ron, David Burton, Vickie Whitehill, Janis Wolfgang, Rex Wolfgang and wife Beverly; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Sonny Coonce, Larry Coonce and wife Donna. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Longmire officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral, Maryville. Funeral services will also be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Corner House Christian Church, Hubbard, Ohio with interment following in the Church Cemetery. The calling hours will be from 1-2:30 p.m. Monday at the Church. Memorials may be made to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Memorial Fund, 1301 E. Broadway, Maryville, TN 37804.
