Clay King

Clay King age 82 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Clay grew up in Sevierville. He attended Madison Avenue Baptist Church and was a retired from the State of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Hurst King; parents, Mary Jane and Charlie Amos King; sister, Grace Todd; brothers, Ralph King and Ray King. Survivors include daughter, Gail (Ken) Holt; granddaughter, Stephanie (Matt) Burr; great granddaughters, Kija and Sunny Burr; sister, Dorothy Hicks; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30pm Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. The burial is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
