Clinton Radford

RADFORD, Clinton, age 80 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a son, Carson Radford; parents, Edward and Lillie Scott Radford; sister, Margaret Allen; brother, Theodore Radford. Survivors include: wife, Christine Beasley Radford; sons and daughters-in-law, Cleaston and Carolyn Radford of Walland, Eddie and Doris Radford of Ball Play; 8 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; sister, Alma Dalton of Tellico; half brothers, James M. Smith of Walland, Lester Wade Smith of Greenback, John Henry Smith of Tellico; several nieces and nephews; a host of friends; special friends, Jim Bookout and Raymond Beasley. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Kirkland and Rev. Leon Amburn officiating. The interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
