Clyde Houston, age 83, of Maryville , born on September 4th, 1942, passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a long battle with dementia. He was originally from Madisonville. He retired from Food City as a butcher. Survived by his loving wife, Doris Ann Houston; sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Angie Houston, Justin and Stephanie Houston; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Perry Millsaps, Rita and Mark Wheeler; step-daughter, Aretha Hudgens; step-son, John Hudgens, grandchildren, Aaron and Kelsey Houston, Kayla Millsaps, Cole and Sophie Wheeler, Brandon Hudgens and wife Paige plus baby Wesley, Austin Hudgens, Madison and Jackson Hensley, and baby Brixton; Chloe Hudgens and Andrew Everett and babies, Brynnleigh and Luka Hudgens great grandchildren, Kinsley, Ava, and Kade Houston; Clyde’s surviving brothers and sisters, Mildred Stinnett, Kenneth and Marie Houston, Lloyd Jr. and Pat Houston.
The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville with funeral services to follow at 7:00 PM. The interment will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, at Maryville Baptist Tabernacle Cemetery. www.mccammonammonsclick.com
