Clyde William Thomas

Clyde William Thomas, age 81 of Maryville, passed away Monday, January 12, 2009, at home surrounded by his family. He was a member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church, and a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Tony Daniels; parents, Luke and Ella Thomas; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Bettye Sue “Susie” Thomas; son and wife, Doug and Kaye Thomas; daughter and husband, Pam and Wendell Tipton; daughter, Penny Daniels; grandsons and wives, Rusty Tipton, Brad and Mary Beth Thomas, Matt and Kellie Graves; granddaughters and husbands, Kristen and Brittney Daniels, Kaci and Jeremy Isabell; great grandchildren, Shaun, Bryson and Mason Thomas, Audrey Isabell, Makella Graves; sisters, Mildred McGinnes, Pauline McPhail; brother, Roy Thomas. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dale Ellenburg officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Axley’s Chapel Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
