Danny R. Mckee

Danny R. McKee - loving husband, father, and grandfather, age 59 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014, at U.T. Medical Center. He was a member of Laws Chapel Baptist Church and was a Baptist minister for 35 years. He was also a member of the National Barrel Horse Association and owner of Diamond M. Horses. He was a graduate of Friendsville High School. Preceded in death by his parents, Cleo Shag and Ruth Vineyard McKee; brother, Jerry McKee; father-in-law, Luther Myers. Survivors include his wife, B.J. McKee; daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Adam Gibson, Amy and Brian Davis; special mother-in-law, Betty Myers; grandchildren, Austin Hill, Riley Hill, McKenzie Morgan, Emma Grace and Abby Kate Davis; brothers, Hubert, Steve and Randy McKee; sisters, Doris McMahan, Faye Eblen, Pat Bailey, Jo Marie Rasor, and Nadine Payne; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2014, in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Rex Everett and Rev. Ronnie Crisp officiating. The interment will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Harrison Hill officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, 982-6812.
