He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lauralie Morton Rubel; son James Morton (Jamie) Rubel of Great Falls, Montana; daughter Grace Elizabeth Rubel, also of Friendsville; sister Kathleen Rubel Roush of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sister Sandra Rubel (Trent) Walker of Glenwood, Iowa; his beloved uncle and aunt, Jim and Marion (MacPherson) Jones of Reading, Kansas; and many dear cousins, nieces and nephews both across the United States and in Scotland.
