David Edward Cody

David Edward Cody, age 56 of Maryville, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He had been co-owner of Cody’s Automotive since 1975. Survivors include his parents, Ed and Marie Cody of Maryville; sister, Annette Cody Boring of Maryville; niece, Jessica Boring; nephew, Isaac Boring; also his racing family; uncles, Cliff Cody and wife Betty of OH, Doug Cody and wife Darcus of Maryville; aunt, Margaret Stephens; many cousins, friends and loyal customers. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Hickman officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
