Della Mae Word
August 16, 1930 — October 22, 2007
WORD, Della M., age 77 of Maryville, passed away Monday, October 22, 2007, at Park West Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Word; granddaughter, Kriste Gross; parents, Sam H. and Johnnie Mae Harbison. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Michael Sheldon of Rockwood; daughter, Phyllis Word of Maryville; son, David Word of Knoxville; grandson, Michael Allen Sheldon; 2 great grandsons, Richard and Hunter Gross; sisters, Betty Jean White and Frances Harbison both of Maryville. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Pine Grove Cemetery in Greenback for a graveside service. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
