Delphia L Smith

Delphia L. Smith, age 75, of Alcoa passed away July 21, 2019 at her home. She was a born again Christian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clemmer & Helen Bailey Smith; nephews, Randy Simerly and David E. Weltner; great-nephew, Christopher Nitzband.

She is survived by her sisters, Phyllis S. Simerly, Becky Adams (David), Kay Huffstetler (Harris), Fay Sisson (David); nephews and nieces, Kenny Simerly (Terri), Lorrie Weltner, Clemmer Adams, David H. Adams (Rachel Moore), Nikki Nitzband, Ashley Flanagin (Brandon); 13 great nieces and nephews; 4 great-great nieces and nephews; several cousins. Delphia lived a quiet and humble life and doted on her nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home and funeral immediately following with her cousins, Dr. Charles Bailey and Rev. Larry Best officiating. Family and friends will meet for the interment 11:00 AM Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Union Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.
