Dora R. Francis

Dora R. Francis age 88 of Maryville, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017, at Asbury Place. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and was active with Meals on Wheels. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Martin Perry Strickland and Louis Francis; brother, Dale Ranft. She was the proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother of: sons, Edward Strickland (Judy), Andrew Strickland (Allen Hart); grandchildren, Benjamin Strickland (Michelle) of New Zealand and Erin Strickland of VA; great grandchildren, Lydia and Aidan; sister, Catherine Cole. Special thanks to Asbury and staff for her care. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, GA for a graveside service.
