WHALEY, Doris A., age 65 of Maryville, went to Heaven to be with Jesus on Monday, June 5, 2006, at U. T. Medical Center. She was a member of Niles Ferry Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Whaley; mother, Edith Whaley Crisp; sister, Nellie Brown; brother, Richard Whaley. Survivors include her sister, Juanita Dailey of Maryville; stepsisters, Bell Brock, Irene Overholt both of Maryville; stepbrothers, Luther Crisp of NC, Claude Crisp of Tellico; nieces, Bobbi Horne of Douglasville, GA, Sandra Patty, Patricia Dailey both of Maryville, Debbie Whaley of Fayetteville, GA, Joanna Ledford of Maryville; great nieces, Juanita and Anita, Gabrielle; great nephews, Ryan and Cody; aunts, Judy Bell Ott, Nora Bell Hood both of Knoxville; several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Claude Ramsey officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Tarklin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment service.
