Dorothy Gamble Simpson Earls, age 73 of Maryville, died Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Andy Simpson, and Tip Earls; sister, Audry Hopkins; parents, Lawrence and Italy Gamble. Survivors include her children, Tommy Wayne Simpson, Robert Lynn Simpson, Michael Lee Simpson, Reccie Ann Simpson, Jerry Ray Simpson, Danny Joe Simpson; special granddaughter, Dorothy Simpson; 7 other grandchildren; brothers, Arthur Gamble, and Billy Gamble; sisters, Geraldine Lewis, Emmey Jean Glenn, Della Chester, and Viola Pitts; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Dale Buchanan officiating. The interment will be 1:00 P.M. Friday in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
