Dorothy I. Bishop Heath Smith

Dorothy I. Bishop Heath Smith- peacefully went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 25, 2011. She was born Jan. 16, 1927 in Knox County. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Heath and Mark Smith; parents, John and Lula Mae Bishop; son-in-law, Dan Acuff. Survivors include her son, Ronnie (Barbara) Heath; daughters, Linda (Ralph) Ogle, Trichia Acuff, Donna (Greg) Stooksbury; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, John (Ruth) Bishop Jr.; sister, Hazel Clark. Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Fellowship Baptist Church, Maryville with Rev. Tom Hatley officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 31, 2011 at Bishopville Cemetery in Powell for the interment service. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 7 P.M. at the church.
