Dorothy W. ''Nanny'' Estes

ESTES, Dorothy W. “Nanny”- age 82 of Maryville, passed away Friday, September 14th, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, retired educator, and Sunday School Teacher. Preceded in death by her husband, John L. Estes, Jr. and son, James Michael Estes. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Donna Estes, Gary and Teresa Estes; grandchildren, Jamie Estes and wife Kena, Shane Estes and Aimee Estes, Adam Reagan and wife Casey, Freddie Reagan and wife Alison, Chris Reagan and wife Laura; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Catherine Waggoner of Knoxville and Louise Cooper of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews, many special friends. Special thanks to Wellington Place staff for their loving care. Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Carl White and Rev. John Gallagher officiating. Family and friends will meet 2:00 pm Sunday at Grandview Cemetery for the entombment service. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 pm Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
