Edith Burns Pierce

Edith Burns Pierce- age 87 of Townsend, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lee Pierce Sr; parents, John S. and Bertha Burns; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cecil and Ruby Burns, Hubert and Edith Burns, Floyd T. and Elizabeth Burns; sister, Rutha Burns; mother-in-law and father-in-law, O.C. and Mima Pierce; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jewell and Robert Whitehead; brother-in-law, Berl Garner. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Lee Jr. and Reba Pierce; daughter and son-in-law, Krista and Roy Caughron; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Bryan and Brooke Buie; great granddaughters, Morgan and Addyson Buie; sister-in-law, Anna Mae Garner; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Reece Boling Officiating.
