Edith Giffin Best

BEST, Edith Giffin, age 94 of Maryville, passed away Friday, October 15, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Carpenters United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Edgar W. Best. Son, Ronald Best. Daughter, Ethleen Baumgardner. Survivors include: Daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Bob Carpenter, Frances and C.A. Graves. Son, James Best. Sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Alice Best, Paul and Mary Ann Best. 23 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Daughter-in-law, Eleanor Best. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Ken Tucker officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 AM Monday at Carpenters Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends 5:30-7:00 PM Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Carpenters United Methodist Church.
