LEQUIRE, Edith Inez Cooper, age 85 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Zions Chapel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, John Ed LeQuire; infant son and daughter; great granddaughter; parents, John Ira and Autie Sparks Cooper; brother, James Murphy Cooper; twin sisters, Leo Daily and Cleo Russell; sister, Mary Sue Hale. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Thomas R. and Nancy LeQuire of Strawberry Plains; daughters, Janet K. Tipton and special friend Richard Sutton, Betty J. Brown and Norman Brown, both of Louisville, MS; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and James Watkins of Mullins, SC; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sisters, Odell Huffstettler, Geraldine Waters, Unav Pilkington, Irma LeQuire, Louise Boone. Family and friends will meet ay 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Middlesettlements Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Thomas R. LeQuire and Rev. Arkie Baker officiating.
