Edith R. Mills

MILLS, Edith R., age 86 of Rockford, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2003, at Fairpark Healthcare Center. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Jeremiah and Martha Hammond Robinette; brothers, Charles, Fanoy, Isaiah and Mell “Doc” Robinette and sisters, Rose Caldwell, Margaret Thompson and Alma Seals. Survivors include: husband, Harold W. Mills; daughter and son-in-law, Jerry and Frank Bridwell of Lake Oswego, Oregon; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Brandon and Leslie Bridwell of Oregon; granddaughter, Whitney Bridwell of Oregon; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Clark’s Grove Cemetery with Rev. W. A. Galyon officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity or church of your choice.
