Edna Hope Lewis

Edna Hope Lewis, age 87, of Maryville passed away at UT Medical Center on July 26, 2022. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree at Tennessee Weslyn. She was a retired schoolteacher with the Blount County School System where she taught 3rd grade at Eagleton. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church, secretary of the Shields Sunday School Class and a member of the Church Bell. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Jefferson and Grace Cochran Lewis; brother, Jack Cochran Lewis.

She is survived by her niece, cousins and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 PM, Thursday, July 28, 2022, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Jonathan Jonas officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 29, 2022, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
