Edna Ruth Moore Russell

Russell, Edna Ruth Moore, age 81, of Maryville, passed away September 21, 2007, at Colonial Hills Nursing Center, Maryville. She was a homemaker and devoted wife of 65 years to Homer Ray Russell (deceased) and was a long time member of Springview Baptist Church, Maryville. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Lamar and Mary of Cape Canaveral, Fla., Lynn and Bonnie, Jim and Ernestine, both of Maryville; Grandchildren, Mary Ruth, Matthew, Jonathan, Timothy, Jason, and Mark; Great-grandchildren, Kaleb Russell and Konner Sweet. She is also survived by sisters Betty Ray, Deland, Florida, Jesse Buchanan, Maryville, and brother Bobby Moore, Maryville. She was a loving wife, dedicated mother, devoted grandmother, and faithful friend. Heartfelt thanks to the love and care she received from the staff and residents of Colonial Hills. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m., with Rev. Jeff Crisp and Rev. Alvin Tallent officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 a.m., Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service.
