Eleanor Lynn "Jerry Lynn" Myers

December 14, 1935 — March 23, 2026

Walland, Tn

Eleanor Lynn “Jerry Lynn” Myers, age 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Known affectionately to most as “Jerry Lynn,” she lived a full and vibrant life defined by love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys. She never met a dessert she didn’t love and always insisted there was room for something sweet—no matter how full she was. Her passions included cheering on the Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Braves, and she found great joy in the sounds of Motown music, especially The Temptations.

Jerry graduated from Porter High School in 1953, where she was both a cheerleader and a basketball player, reflecting her lifelong energy and team spirit. She went on to dedicate many years of service to UT Medical Center, retiring from Nursing Administration, where she made a lasting impact through her care and leadership.

She is now reunited in rest with her parents, Elmer and Bonnie Myers; her sisters, Becky Lee and Jane Myers; her brothers, Larry “Pedro” Myers and Tony Myers; and her son-in-law, Marshall Williams.

Jerry is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Laurie Myers Williams and Lisa Myers. She leaves behind granddaughters: Emilee (Kevin) Riehn, Bonnee (Tyrel) Paumen, and Lyndsee (Jimmy) Pearson, Heather Williams, and Jayden Williams; grandsons Tommy Williams, Chris Williams, Kevin Williams, Will Williams, and Jonas Williams along with twelve adored great-grandchildren who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by her brother, Michael (Judy) Myers, and her special niece, Pagi (Kurt) Teffeteller.

A devoted animal lover, Jerry held a special place in her heart for all her beloved “fur babies”—Casey Dog, Christmas, Maggie, Simone, Fern, Winnie, and Bud Bud—whom she spoke of often, even in her final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to the Blount County Animal Shelter, honoring her lifelong love for animals.

Jerry Lynn will be remembered for her warmth, her sweet tooth, her love of family, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
