Elizabeth Inez Toomey Higdon, age 94 of Alcoa entered this world April 21, 1925 and entered into her heavenly home on March 19, 2020 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Higdon; brother, Kenneth Toomey.
She is survived by her daughter, Anita Higdon Headrick and husband John; son, Mike Higdon; daughter, Kay Higdon Speegle and husband Jim; son, Dennis Higdon and wife Diane;10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Saturday, March 21, 2020 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Tony Collins officiating. The interment will be 1:00 PM Sunday at Grandview Cemetery.
