Ella Payne Delay

DELAY, Ella Payne, of Alcoa, passed away Monday, July 14, 2003, at Asbury Acres Health Center. She was a member of Alcoa First Baptist Church, was retired from ALCOA. a member of the 25 Year Club and was an active member in Eastern Star, holding several offices. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom M. DeLay; parents, G. S. and Hattie Gartland Payne; brothers, George Payne and Herbert Payne. Survivors include three sisters, Loretta Christie of Maryville, Ruby McFee of Alcoa and Cathern Tucker of Tellico Village; several nieces and nephews; special friends and caregivers, Richard and Lois Patterson. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Clifton Hearon officiating.
