Ellen Ruth Steele

Ellen Ruth Steele - age 85 of Greenback passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 at Asbury Place. She was a member of Morganton Baptist Church, Greenback. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff on 1 South at Asbury Place. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Steele; daughter and son-in-law, Claudette and Arch Arstikaitis; parents, George and Hannah Crisp; brothers, George Crisp Jr. And J.B. Crisp; sisters, Shirley Delozier, Nellie Mae Williams, and Velma Chapman. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gaynelle and Murphy Russell; granddaughter and spouse, Laura and Keith Henry; granddaughter, Kristin Ferrell; great-grandchildren, Jarred Pekala, Morgan Pekala, and Will Ferrell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Kim Crisp, Jim and Cindy Crisp; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte (Midge) and Roy Goodwin. Family and friends will Meet 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Loudon County Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with Rev. Tommy Self officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville 982-6812.
