Elsie Huffstetler Mcconnell

Elsie Huffstetler McConnell, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and a former Blount County Supervisor and teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Newton McConnell; parents, Jim and Della Giffin Huffstetler; brothers, Robert L. And J. Hubert Huffstetler. Survivors include her son, James W. McConnell of Maryville; nieces, Louise King of Abingdon, VA and Ann Peterson of Maryville; special devoted friends, George and Patricia Howards; 2 great nephews and cousins. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 Monday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Dr. Jerry Russell officiating.
