Flossie Jane Gilbert

Flossie Jane Gilbert, age 97 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014. She was a member of Houston Memorial Presbyterian Church and retired after 33 years of service as buyer with S. H. George and Sons, Rich's and Millers of Knoxville. Preceded in death by parents, Mathew and Hettie Abbott Gilbert; sisters, Gladys Caldwell, Della Hamilton, Carrie Headrick, Ruby Estep, Ottis Gilbert; brothers, Wesley Gilbert, Marion Gilbert, Giles Perman Gilbert, Sanford Gilbert. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with the Pastor David Gilbert officiating.
