ADAMS, Floyd, age 87 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2002, at Fairpark Healthcare Center. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, a U. S. Army veteran of WW II having served in Europe, he was employed by ALCOA, Inc. for a number of years before moving to Woodsfield, Ohio where he worked for and retired from Ormet, Inc., and was Past Master of New Providence Masonic Lodge # 128 F&AM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ella Adams and brothers Paul Adams, Lloyd Adams, Ernest Adams, Henry Adams and Windom Adams. Survivors include: wife, Elmira Adams; stepson and step daughter-in-law, Leonard and Shirley Stinnett of Louisville; two grandchildren, Kim Mock and Jim Stinnett; three great grandchildren, Jimmy Stinnett, Megan Stinnett and Justin Mock; brother, Marvin (Sam) Adams of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Ernest Best of Maryville; sisters, Blanche Boone of Maryville and Hollis Wallace of North Carolina; sisters-in-law, Myrtle Adams of Florida and Faye Adams of South Carolina. A Masonic service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel followed by funeral services with Rev. Greg Long officiating. Music will be provided by Trent Stubblefield. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service.
