Frances E. Delaney

Frances E. Delaney, born on December 3, 1915, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vic Delaney, 4 brothers and 3 sisters, 2 son-in-laws, Dean Best and Leslan Weaver. She was a member of First Baptist Church Alcoa where she taught four-five year old children. She retired from Maryville College after 17 years. She is survived by 3 daughters: Betty Franklin (Dr John), Linda Best and Vicki Weaver Eight Grandchildren and spouses: John & Melanie Franklin, Daniel & Renee Franklin, Tammy & David Kidd, Sheri McCall, Gary & Lisa Best, Dale & Katie Best, Amanda Weaver & Josh Weaver. Ten Great Grandchildren and spouses: Carie & Chad Lamson, Sarah & Greg Brock, Justin & Bre Kidd, Stephanie & Nick Hodge, Jessica McCall, Joey McCall, Haley, Sarah, Jake and Isaac Best Eight Great Great Grandchildren: Caiden, Chloe & Cruz Lamson, Emma & Taft Brock, Kaylyn & Jack Kidd, Garrett Knouff 1 Brother, George Burns 1 Sister, Joyce Loftis Family and friends will meet 11:00 AM Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for graveside services with Rev Freeman Tomlin officiating.
