Frances Eloise Bates Bluford

BLUFORD, Frances Eloise Bates, age 91 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2006, at her home. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Retired Chief of Police, John R. Bluford; parents, Robert and Mamie Sue Bates; sisters, Bobbie Crowder, Helen Wear; brother, Joe Bates. Survivors include: sister, Kathryn Bates of Tellico Plains; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Edna and Jack Alexander of FL, Jimmie and Al Delozier of Maryville; brother-in-law, Tommy Delozier of FL; nieces, Sarah and Jackie Winters, Sandy Hakooz, Susie Young, Sissie Burris, Sue Kirkland, Shirley Mullins, Elizabeth Phillips; nephews, Robbie Delozier, Tommy Delozier, Doug Delozier, Mike Skeen; several great nieces and great nephews; devoted friend, Trixie Walker. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Sullivan officiating. The interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
