Frances A. Jackson

Frances A. Jackson, of Sevierville, TN, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, at the age of 97.

Frances was born March 14, 1927, in Camden, NJ to Frank and Mary Deven. She resided in New Jersey and Florida most of her life before her and her husband, Harvey W. Jackson, moved to Tennessee in 2013 to live with their daughter. 

In early July 1945, she met Harvey W. Jackson, a returning WWII soldier. They had a whirlwind courtship of two weeks, wed on July 21, and were married 71 years before his passing in 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey W. Jackson; her parents; brother, Fred Deven of New York City; and sister, Angelina Tierno of NJ.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Debbie Jackson of Sevierville, TN; son, Frank Jackson, Sr. of NJ; granddaughter, Collene Davidowich of NJ; grandson, Frank Jackson, Jr. of NJ; niece, Mary Tierno of NJ; great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She will be interred with her husband at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville.
