Frankie G. Crye

Frankie G. Crye, age 81 of Maryville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at U. T. Medical Center. She was a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church and retired from J. C. Penney. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Crye Holder; parents, Roy and Glennie Garland; sisters, Esther Martin and Ada Delhamer; brother, Doyle Garland and nephew, Keith Walters. Survivors include her husband, Maynard Crye; daughter, Twila Crye; grandson, John Michael Scott; granddaughters, Talia Holder, Tiffany Potter and husband Jason and Erin Hitchcock and husband Bryan; great granddaughter, Tristin Potter; great grandson, Colton Hitchcock; sister, Merle Walters. Mrs. Crye was a loving, kind and thoughtful Christian woman. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. The body will lie in state from 2-3:00 p.m. Sunday at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church followed by a 3:00 p.m. funeral service with Rev. Lon Wayne Stamey officiating.
