Franklin Delano "F.D." Williams, age 76 of Maryville, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a founding member of Maryville Baptist Tabernacle, attended New Hope Baptist Church and was retired from Vulcan Materials. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Louise Williams; daughter, Janice Ketner; father, Cami Hughes; mother, Novella Williams Hutchens; brothers, James and Hugh Hudgens; dear fishing buddy, Logan. Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Caldwell and Cynthia Williams; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Everett; grandchildren, Amanda Smith, Kristina Killebrew (Jon), Erin Caldwell, Nathan Caldwell, Leslie Staley (Chris), Jennifer Sumpter, Brian Sumpter and Marissa Wilson; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Alice Yates (Lowell); brother, Bill Hudgens (Debbie); special friend, Carol Stinnett. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. D. Nuchols officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Russell Cemetery for the interment.
