Fred Russell Kagley

KAGLEY, Fred Russell age 89 of Maryville passed away Thursday, May 22nd, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member and deacon at Kagley’s Chapel Baptist Church. He previously served as deacon at Hillview Baptist Church. He was a member of Mt. View Lodge F&AM. He retired from ALCOA and was a member Alcoa 25 year club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Henderson Kagley, his parents, Russ and Emma Kagley. Five sisters; Iva Raulston, Hazel Long, Clara Raulston, Ruth Boring, and Essie Kagley. Two siblings; John and Laura Mae died as infants. He is survived by special nephews: Ralph and Edna Mae Long, Horace and Ollie Long, Bill and Phyllis Long, Fred and Erma Raulston. Special nieces: Jean and Rev. Clarence Evans, Delcie and Joe Spence, Pauline and Ray Foster, Emma Bingham and a large number or great and great-great nephews and nieces. Family and friends will meet 10:00 Saturday at Mt. View Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Clarence Evans officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:30 PM Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
