With deepest sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of Gabriel Caleb Caldwell, who went from the arms of his parents into the arms of his Savior, Jesus, on Wednesday morning, March 11, 2026, at the age of 22.
Caleb was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him. He gave the biggest, warmest hugs and loved his family and friends with his whole heart. He was quick-witted and never missed a chance to tease those he loved—always in a way that brought laughter and connection.
Caleb was a devoted gamer who cherished every moment spent playing alongside his siblings and his closest friends, Ethan Hodges and Jared Cable. He also loved the outdoors—camping, fishing, and traveling with his family were some of his favorite memories. Caleb found joy in shared moments, and he made every space he entered a little brighter.
He is preceded in death by his beloved brother, Isaiah Taylor Caldwell; grandmother, Gayle Caldwell; and cousin, Boone Yeager.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Kara and Lynn Caldwell, sister, Victoria Caldwell. Grandparents, Donna McDaniel Standridge Bolton (husband Carl Bolton), Tim Standridge (Theresa Wilson), and Gerald Caldwell. Aunt Katie Householder Grubbs and husband Matt; cousins Luke Householder (wife Daniela and daughter Isabella), Kassidy Householder, and Eli Householder (wife Emma), Aunt Emilie Yeager and husband Chris; cousins Molly, Nora, Asher, and Bane Yeager. Aunt Rachel Dixon; cousins Lela, Solomon, and Amelia Dixon. Uncle Izaak Standridge and wife Sara. Uncle Josiah Standridge and wife Mandy; cousins Rosie and Lettie Standridge.
Caleb’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and moments that will forever be treasured. His absence leaves a deep ache, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
