Gary Summers

Gary Summers, age 75 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at his home. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and worked for Harrison Construction for 26 years. Mr. Summers was preceded in death by his son, William (Bill) Summers; parents, Hoyle and Katherine DuVall Summers; uncle, Bill Summers. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Laurana Staton Summers; son, Paul Summers; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Vick Chadwick of Seymour, Terry and Robin Leonard of Maryville, Tammy and Brad Tucker of Bracken County, KY; daughter and fiance, Samantha Cummins and Mike Pemberton of Bracken County, KY; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Bonnie Summers of Circleville, OH; one niece; special friends, Kevin Ivens and Vick York. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. An entombment service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Grandview Mausoleum with Rev. Kenneth Carpenter officiating.
