Gayle W. Fox

Gayle W. Fox, age 84 of Alcoa, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, August 11, 2024. She was a graduate of Maryville High School and Maryville College. Gayle was a member of First United Methodist Church of Maryville. Preceded in death by her husband, Landon D. Fox; parents, Clarence and Johnanna White; sister-in-law, Anna Carylon Hinds. Survivors include her daughters, Tracy Fox Murley and husband Harry Murley IV, Lana Fox and husband Thomas Slawson; son, Michael Fox; grandchildren, Cole (Taylor-Marie) Murley, Ben Murley, Parker Slawson, and Lane Slawson; great granddaughter, Olivia Murley; sister-in-law, Phyllis Lawson and husband Neil Lawson. Family and friends will gather for entombment services on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 1 P.M. in the Sherwood Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Sarah Slack officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
