June 30, 1941 — July 19, 2012
Gene Paul Herron, age 71 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Nelda Herron; sisters, Bobbie McGinley and Margaret McCall; brothers, John Herron and James David Herron. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Cannon Herron; sons, Gene Paul Herron, II and Daniel E. Herron; daughters, Joy Mary Herron and Valerie Lynn Moon; grandchildren, Cody Joe Herron, Brickey Lee Dixon, Daniel Ryley Herron, Shelby Laine Herron and Star A. Moon; brothers, Michael Herron and wife Janice, Kenneth Herron and wife Ella; sisters-in-law, Lynn Herron and Carolyn Herron; brother-in-law, Jack McCall; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:30-4:30 Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home and then proceed to Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a 5:00 p.m. graveside service with Casey King officiating.
