George Edward Knell

George Edward Knell, age 58, passed away September 20, 2011, at his home in Maryville after a long fought battle with cancer. He had retired from ALCOA, Inc. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Hutson. George is survived by his wife, Martha Boling Knell; daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Jesse Valentine; mother, Blanche Lacey; sister, Peggie Marks; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard and Carolyn Boling, Barbara and Charlie Brooks and Brenda and Lance White; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Jr. Headrick officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Clark’s Grove Cemetery.
