Gerald R. ''Shorty'' Gibson

GIBSON, Gerald R. “Shorty” -age 45 of Maryville, passed away, Saturday December 8th, 2007 after a long battle with a serious illness. He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Carlene Young Gibson and Darwin Gibson; his brother, Jeffrey L. Gibson; grandparents, Elsie and James Gibson, Benton and Stella Young. He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Benton Gibson of Lapier, MI, Stephen and Sharon Gibson, Dennis and Diane Gibson, and Christopher Gibson all of Maryville, Robert and Lisa Gibson of Sweetwater; sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene and Edwin Moody of Alcoa, Jennifer and Gary Atkins of Madisonville; also survived by special uncle and aunt, Mike and Kristy Gibson of Pierceton, IN, two beloved companions, Willow and Tiger; several nieces, nephews, great niece and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; very close friends, Albert and Gloria Barnes, Mike and Becky Moore all of Knoxville.
